Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie band formed in 2006. They have gained their success by making low-budget music videos of covers and originals and have built their fan base independently with no help from record labels, booking agents or management.
This video became rapidly popular on YouTube early this year, gathering over 100 million views in four months and receiving positive responses from both Gotye (author of the original song) and his co-singer on the song, Kimbra.
