Infographic: Metallica – 20 Fact in 30 Years
Flashback: 1981, Los Angeles, California.
Drummer Lars Ulrich placed an advertisement in a newspaper – The Recycler – which read “Drummer looking for other metal musicians to jam with Tygers of Pan Tang, Diamond Head and Iron Maiden”. Guitar player / singer James Hetfiel answered the ad and and from that moment the history of metal would not have been the same.
And from that moment more than 30 years have gone. I found this interesting Infographic celebrating the Metallica’s 30th anniversary and I just wanted to share it with you. There are 20 fun facts from the band’s three decade history. My favourite is 1,256, number of times Metallica played live “Master of Puppets”.
